Norm Abram is an American carpenter and reality television personality who has a net worth of $2.5 million dollars. Norm Abram was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and grew up in Milford, Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He began working for a construction firm after graduation, and three years later, founded his own construction company called, Integrated Structures, Inc. In 1979, he built a small barn for television producer Russell Morash. Mr. Morash was so impressed with his carpentry skills that he invited him to become the primary carpenter for a series he was producing for PBS called, "This Old House". He has appeared on the successful show ever since. He also starred on a spin-off series, "The New Yankee Workshop", for 21 years. He is the author of eight books on carpentry, and has also appeared on other shows, such as "Between the Lions" and "Ace of Cakes".
